Quizlet -the Ultimate Flashcards to Hammer in What You Need to Know

It takes a genius to convert a highly common tool into one that really works. Websites that let you make, save and flip through flashcards are abound. They are essentially a simple tool, but in the hands of a Quizlet team, it has now become a launching pad for exciting headways.
Lead by a former MIT (dropout/completed?) crammer himself, Quizlet is borne out of the necessity to incorporate technologies in learning and education.
I started using Quizlet 3 years ago, when the pet project was only in its infancy. Its founder finally said goodbye to his Ivy league College to devote full time to developing the technologies that would form the backbone of today's Quizlet. It now boasts to be the leading educational technology tool in the market, with more people using its software than any other educational software.
Huge, but still short of its mission. Quizlet is only getting started in providing 'free, powerful and inspiring' learning tools to everyone in the earth. Pretty inspiring I must say.
Quizlet worked wonders for me personally. The launch of their android app coincided with my own prep schedule for USMLE Step 1. All of my flashcards are now public. My sets were not only fact checkers but also combined conceptual choice-making by employing either/or scenarios and using longer question stems.
Here are my USMLE Step 1 folder containing roughly 3000 flashcards!
